ACC Media Policies
Media policies for ACCHL events and tournaments:
- Media Requests and Credential Issuance:
- Media requests shall be submitted to the Director, Media Relations.
- Issuance of a media credential does not guarantee event-level access. Event-level access shall be granted on a case by case basis to create fair opportunities for participating teams.
- Guidelines for Media Members:
- All media members must follow directions from ACCHL staff or host arena staff.
- ACCHL staff have priority for all photo positions.
- Photographers may be assigned specific spots for photography.
- Tournament-Specific Rules:
- During tournaments, the official photographer and media members from the championship team are the only individuals allowed on the ice until after the official team photo is taken.
- Bench access will be granted only to team photographers, at the discretion of the team’s coaching staff.
- Usage and Copyright:
- While copyright of photos remains with the photographer, photos may only be used for reporting and coverage of the event, as well as for personal portfolios.
- Sales of images obtained while using a media credential are strictly prohibited.
These policies ensure a fair and organized media presence while respecting the rights of photographers and maintaining the integrity of ACCHL events.
