Virginia Tech hockey returned to the ice post-pandemic with a focus and mission. With a robust preseason, the Hokies have recorded a 5-2 record, and 3-0 with ACC Division rivals. Standout freshman, Gavin Peduzzi has emerged as a league leading first line forward, amassing 15 points (8 G, 7 A) in just 7 games. In an important rivalry game, Gavin scored two goals, three assists in the Hokies lopsided 11-2 win over a historically strong George Washington team. Gavin hails from Frederick, MD. Congratulations to Gavin, his team mates, and Coach Mullen for a tremendous start to the season!
Virginia Tech puts on their "Away Jerseys" this weekend for two inter-divisional league games versus Richmond (Friday), and Virginia (Saturday).
