Timothy McEnery is a 21 year USMC combat veteran who served in three combat operations inclusive of Operations Ernest Will – 1987/88 (Persian Gulf anti‐mine), Restore Hope – 1993 (Somalia), and Iraqi Freedom – 2005/2006.  He continues to support the Department of Defense since retirement, and currently serves as the Operations Manager for United States Southern Command.

Though Tim has a Master's Degree in Education, he has enrolled in Old Dominion University where he pursuing an undergrad degree in Cybersecurity.  In his spare time he has made the roster for the Monarch's Hockey Team where he joins his two adult sons, Tyler and Kory, on the ice. 

"When I originally enrolled at ODU," Tim stated, "I had two goals: 1) to enroll in lifelong learning college coursework that would align to Continuing Professional Education (CPE) units required to maintain relevant project management and cybersecurity certifications; and 2) to have an opportunity to play collegiate club level ice hockey with my two adult sons."
