Virginia Tech remains one of two undefeated ACC teams in League competition going into the holiday break. On the weekend of 6-7 November, the Hokies hosted #29 West Virginia and #7 Rowan. Junior forward Myles Walther came to skate for both games scoring 5 points (2 G, 3A) leading the Hokies to a 4-1 victory over ACC Division rival Mountaineers, and a hard fought 5-4 win over top ten ranked Rowan University.
Myles has tallied 25 points (7 G, 18A) in 15 games and is currently enrolled as a Business Major in his third year at Virginia Tech. He originally hails from Brewster, Massachusetts.
Congratulations to Myles, Head Coach Joey Mullen, the entire team staff, and the Hokies for a phenomenal start to the '21-'22 ACC Hockey Season. Virginia Tech is currently ranked #10 in the ACHA Southeast.
