After working through evaluating players and lines in an ACC exhibition game with High Point University Panthers, the Tar Heels traveled north the following weekend to skate against ACC Premier League rivals, the University of Delaware and Rowan University.
New Head Coach Adam Dauda made the most of evaluating his players the week prior and had his team ready to compete on the road. Led by Team Captain Henry Foster, and 6 goals by sophomore Patrick O'Shaughnessy, North Carolina managed to head back south on I-95 with two ACC Premier League wins to start the season.
However, the Tar Heels prolific weekend scoring would not have been effective without Senior Cole Kosowski feeding his teammates resulting in 7 assists for the weekend. In addition to his point total, Cole was a presence on the ice creating havoc in the offensive zone with strong checks and aggressive board work.
Congratulations to Cole for being named this week's ACC Player of the Week. Cole is a senior who hails from Boxborough, Massachusetts.
Congratulations to Cole, Coach Adam Dauda, the entire Tar Heel team & staff for a phenomenal start to the '23-'24 ACC Hockey Season. Next up, University of Kentucky this weekend.
