NC State opened it's '24-'25 ACC League season by travelling north to Glassboro, NJ to take the ice against ACC Champions Rowan University. The Icepack wasted no time getting their revenge on an overtime loss to the Professors in last year's ACC Championship Semifinals, winning 7-3 on Friday night. Returning to the arena less than 24 hours later, both teams were prepared to compete in their first season league game. Unfortunately for the Profs, the results were similar to the night before - Icepack winning 6-3.
Coach Healey credited a total team effort, but singled out Freshman Dan Prazma for the NC State Player of the Week, and subsequently voted as ACC Player of the Week.
Dan had five points (4 G, 1 A) over the weekend which included his first collegiate league games. Dan hails from Cary, North Carolina and is currently enrolled as a Political Science major.
Congratulations to Dan, his Icepack teammates, Coach Healey and his entire staff for a tremendous start to the '24-'25 ACC Season.
