AUSTRIA – On January 2, 2025, a team of All Stars from the ACCHL M2 Elite Division travelled to Austria to take on four Austrian teams. The first two games were played in Graz and were played at the arena that’s home to the Graz 99er’s. In the first game, the ACCHL All Stars lost a close one in overtime, 7-6 to Graz Academy.
They would bounce back the next day to defeat the Sajowitz Devils 15-2. The team would then move on to Vienna, with a stop in Bruck. The ACCHL would lose a tight match with the Bruck Icehawks 4-2, with the Icehawks final goal being an empty netter.
The final game would be against the University of Vienna (Totonka) and would be played in the arena that hosts the Vienna Capitals. The All Stars would even their record while defeating Totonka 11-1.
Eight Universities were represented, with coaches from four teams. The coaching staff consisted of: Adam Brown, West Virginia University; Jeff German, Denison University; John Camp, University of Georgia; and Bill Trofi, Duke University. Mike Walley ACCHL Executive Director also travelled with the team.
