Georgetown went on the road this weekend, a short 10 minute metro ride to take on their cross town rivals - the Colonials of George Washington University.  The Colonials got off to a quick start, with Max Terhar scoring from a Jake Lessick pass in 42 seconds.  The Hoyas tied the game at the end of the first period with a wicked tip on a shot from the point by John Kelly.  John added the GWG early in the second period on play where he took the puck from the blue line and beat the Colonial Defensemen to get positioned just in front of the crease where he backhanded the puck into the top shelf.  The Hoyas would add another goal later in the second period to go up 3-1.  Honorable mention goes out to Jake Lessick (GWU) who responded in the third with a highlight reel goal of his own, skating through four Hoya players just inside the blue line to set up a breakaway, where he made an incredible move and backhand of his own.  While the Colonials lost the late night rival game, Jake's goal proved to be the tie-breaker in the event these two powerhouse teams end the season with identical records.
