Virginia Tech hockey rejoined the ACC this year making their impact felt both inside and outside the league.  Last weekend the Hokies traveled to The City of Brotherly Love to take on a very skilled ACHA M1 Temple team.  After losing a heartbreaker in overtime on Friday night, the Hokies, led by forward Filipe Rodriquez.  Felipe found the net four times and had 2 assists in Virginia Tech's 6-4 win on Saturday. Felipe is the Hokies leading scorer this season with 22 points (7 goals, 15 assists).  Congratulations to Felipe for earning honors as the first of many Hokies to have earned the ACC Player of the Week honors!
