Wake Forest Deacs move to 2-0

Wake Forest made a trip up to Duke this weekend looking to further better their record.
Your Demon Deacons traveled up to Duke Friday night and came home with a 7-1 victory against the Duke Blue Devils. Goals by Jack McGowen, Hunter Laroe, Jacob Grossman, Nick Keroack, and Brendan Gregiore with two goals on the night gave the Deacs their second win of the season. Kal Maier and Justin Yost played strongly in net giving the team the support they needed defensively. Kal Maier also picked up his first assist of the year, something he hopes he can continue to do throughout the season. Wake Forest looks to go 3-0 next week as they take on the UNCC 49ers.
