Moving on from a win against Duke, the Demon Deacons were ready to rematch the defending champions, the UNCC 49ers. After the Deacs went up by 2, the 49ers scored to bring the score to 2-1. The Demon Deacons responded by putting up 4 unanswered goals; the 49ers scored within the last minute to bring it to 6-2. The goals were scored by Keroack, Gebhardt, Adams, Potts, and Gregoire (2). Another strong performance by Kal Maier in net helped the Deacons secure a strong victory. This weekend your Demon Deacons will go to Raleigh for a tournament looking to extend their winning stretch.
