With all the success of the Wolfpack lately, the entire team could be selected as Player of the Week.  However, in the game against the University of Delaware, NC State's highest ranked opponent of the season, senior Tyler Alfonzetti netted 2 goals including the game winner.  Along with NC State, Virginia Tech also outscored UDel earlier in the season to make the ACC 2-0 against a top five ACHA team.  Tyler, last year's ACC Scholar-Athlete Awardee (3.98 in Engineering and Economics), added 1 goal and 2 additional assists in a three game blitz by the Wolfpack in which kept NC State undefeated going into the holiday break.  This is only the second time in ACC Hockey history that a team has  finished the fall semester of hockey undefeated.  The other team was the 2011-2012 Georgetown team that finished the season 19-1 and won the ACC Championship.  Congratulations to Tyler and the entire NC State Team for a historic fall semester of ACC Hockey!
