Reigning ACC M2 Premier Champions starting to look like the powerhouse of last year.  After a slow start (0-3), the Nittany Lions have won 4 straight, including three this past weekend.  

Penn State started the weekend with an 8-0 drubbing of ACC Elite powerhouse Denison, followed by sweeping a double header from the US Military Academy.

Junior net minder Josh Ferry got the start on Friday and Sunday, posting a 25/25 shots on goal/saves vs. Denison, and 45/47 shots on goal in a crucial 3-2 win over the well-conditioned Military Cadets of West Point.  Josh, one of the leading goalies in the league, was instrumental in Penn State's first year successes in the ACC which led to an ACC Title and a deep run in the ACHA Regional Tournament.  Josh is a chemical engineer major who hails from Pittsburgh, PA.

Congratulations to Josh, his teammates, Head Coach Chris Cunningham, the coaching staff, and the entire Nittany Lion hockey organization.  Looking forward to seeing Penn State compete in the upcoming ACC Fall Classic tournament here in DC, 3-5 November.
