Coastal Carolina has continued this season where they left off last season as ACC M2A Champions.  In the past weekend, the Chanticaleers held a double header against their long-time league rival, Christopher Newport, and went home with two impressive wins (10-3, 9-0).  

The Chanticleers have an all-star roster highlighted by some of the previous ACC Player of the Week selections.  This past weekend, it was junior forward Liam Walsh who earned the honors.  Tied at 2-2 early in the 2nd period of Game 1, Liam literally put the team on his back and carried the play for the rest of the game and game two.  Head Coach Grant Williams said of Liam's on ice efforts, "Best single performance I've seen in years!"  

Liam finished the weekend with 12 points (6G, 6A).  He is a third year business major, hailing from Kensington, New Hampshire.
