The 10th Annual ACC Fall Classic Tournament was held in Springfield, Virgnia for the 3rd consecutive year.  Twenty-four teams participated (8 Premier, 16 Elite) in three league games throughout the weekend.  Rider finished the tournament 2-0-1 for a premier tournament leading 23 points.  The Broncs won the Premier Tournament Bracket edging out North Carolina (2-1) and Penn State (2-1), who both tallied 20 points.

In the tournament, Rider beat Virginia Tech 11-7 on Friday and North Carolina 4-1 on Sunday, losing to UNC-Wilmington, 3-2 in overtime.  The Broncs offensive production was led by junior forward Trevor Giwerowski.

Rider is currently ranked #12 in the ACHA Southeast and is on top of the Premier North Division in the ACC with a league record of 5-1-3.

The Premier Tournament MVP for the weekend was Junior Forward Trevor Giwerowski.  Trevor is a dual major in Business and Sports Management who hails from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, which is just across the river and stone's throw from the Rider campus.

Congratulations to Trevor, his teammates, Coaches Conner Fox, and the entire Rider hockey family for winning their first ACC Fall Classic Tournament and a phenomenal fall semester of hockey.
