York College/M2A - 4 December

In their first year in the ACC Hockey League, York College currently sits at the top of the M2A Premier North Division with 12 points.  The Spartans benefitted from a strong first semester performance by the forward line of Evan Kays (22 points), Max Chrzanowski (22 points), and Trent Keenan (24 points).  This past weekend, York College took on UMBC for their final game of the semester and won convincingly, 8-2.

Trent earned 7 points (7G) after returning from a three game absence due to an injury. His linemates: Evan earned 2 points (1G, 1A) and Max earned 3 points (3A) to improve their ACC Hockey League record to 6-3-0.

For his effort and leadership on the ice, Trent was selected as the ACC Player of the Week.  He is a freshman majoring in Civil Engineering.  Through 11 games this season, Trent has recorded 18 goals and 6 assists.

Congratulations to Trent, Coach Rick Guinan and the entire Spartan hockey family during their first season in the ACCHL.  Best of luck with the remainder of the season.
