The High Point Men's Hockey Program has received a great deal of well-deserved recognition this season with their phenomenal level of success they have earned on the ice this fall semester.  However, the Women's program has also enjoyed a record setting season in their own right as well.  In just their third year in existence and third year in the league, High Point Women have earned 9 points this season (just two points off the season leaders).  

The Panthers are loaded with talent this season, and this past weekend beat their in-state rivals, NC State, 5-0.  Freshman standout, Grace Mottau earned 4 points (3G, 1A) to lead the Panthers in scoring.  For the year, Grace has 27 points (15G, 12A) in just 8 games.  Grace hails from Avon, Massachusetts, and majors in Sports Management.

The Panthers are now 4-2-0-1 in league play and are looking to qualify for their first ACC Championship Playoff berth.  Congratulations to Grace, her teammates, Head Coach Kim Starcher, and the entire High Point hockey organization for an historic season thus far.
