The Tar Heels had their best weekend of the season with two in state rivals. Captain AJ Hamel amassed 9 points (5 goals and 4 assists) in a 12-2 blowout of Divisional rival Elon. Then he capped the weekend with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) the following day to give UNC a second victory in two days. AJ is second in points, goals, and assists in the ACC for the season.
