NC State seems to recruit a very talented freshman class (on and off the ice) year after year.  This season is no different.  Freshman defenseman Cam Mazikowski led the Wolfpack to a 6-2 victory against a strong instate rival, Wake Forest.  Cam, as always, was a presence in the defensive zone, not allowing a Deacon Demon goal in his 25+ minutes on the ice.  In addition to his impressive defensive efforts, Cam found the back of the net on three opportunities, scoring his first hat trick in a Wolfpack sweater.  He also added an assist for 4 points.  Congratulations to Cam and NC State for a great start to the 2017-2018 season!
