Our final ACC Player of the Week has been awarded to Trevor Murphy of Virginia Tech. The Hokies completed their season comeback in the second semester with wins over Stephenson College and divisional rival West Virginia. Virginia Tech needed to overcome a slow start in the fall, and responded after the holidays with a 3-0 finish in league competition against each of it's Virginia Divisional rivals. In the final two games of the season, Trevor scored 3 goals with 5 assists, and logging over 25 minutes of ice time per game. More importantly, he was critical on the Penalty Kill unit as well ensuring the Hokies would keep their opponents off the scoreboard when skating a man down. Trevor was selected for the ACCHL All-Rookie Team last season, the ACCHL All-American Second Team this season, and the ACCHL All-Star Team which will compete in Philadelphia April 12-14, 2019.
